Our dentist will then take an impression of the treated tooth and place a temporary crown upon it. The impressions will be sent to a lab where the permanent crown will be manufactured, and you will be sent on your way. When we receive the permanent one, you will return to the office so we can remove the temporary one and cement the new crown in place.
